We are looking for a highly motivated Community Coordinator to work on our online communities from our Toronto, Canada office. This individual will work as a valued member of a team that develops and manages community websites for music artists, ensuring that our sites meet the highest quality and content standards. Required Experience and Education:
- Experience with the internet and web-based applications
- Experience with writing content for websites and online newsletters
- Bachelor Degree or College Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Business or Music or equivalent work experience
- Two - five years experience participating or managing an online communities is an asset
- Work experience in the music industry or extensive music knowledge an asset
Required Skills:
- Experience with developing dynamic and interactive website content with input from various sources
- Strong familiarity with social networking tools, message boards and blogs
- Superior organizational and time-management skills and a sharp eye for details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all personnel
- Experience working in a Windows-based environment
- Experience working with energetic volunteers
- Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, team-based work environment
- A strong passion for music!
