Summer Community Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated Community Intern to work on our communities from our Toronto office. This individual will be a part of a team that develops and manages community websites and online businesses for music artists.

This is a paid, flexible, 35-hours-a-week internship that will start in May and end in August. School credit can also be given to those who need it.

Required skills:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Experience working in a Windows-based environment
  • A strong passion for music!

Responsibilities can include:

  • Communicating with members of our online communities
  • Moderating and maintaining online discussion boards
  • Drafting copy for site content and newsletters
  • Setting up and maintaining social network pages such as MySpace, Facebook and Bebo
  • Reviewing and maintaining other online pages such as Wikipedia and Last.fm for our artists
