officialCOMMUNITY has developed a unique invitation ticketing system that allows artists, managers, agents and promoters to gauge demand in advance of on sales while mitigating fraud and broker activity. The system allows fans to choose the city or cities they would be interested in seeing an artist perform in. Fans who have expressed an interest in a particular city can then have first access to the best seats available, receiving a secure invite email that will grant the user access to the hidden presale area on the artist’s site. This process controls the volume of ticket-buying activity on an artist website, eliminating the server overloads prevalent with even the most robust, corporate ticketing systems. In addition, invitation ticketing also allows for a variety of automated and manual fraud and broker-prevention measures to be put in place, further ensuring real fans get the best seats.
